UPDATED: Missing 8 Year Old Girl Found

UPDATED – 5/27/19 – Lt. Charles Groce of the Wyoming Police Department is advising that on Monday, May 27 Jessica Ewing turned herself in to their department and surrendered custody of Mia Fumes, who was found to be in good condition.

The Town of Wyoming (DE) Police Department is attempting to locate 8 year old Mia Fumes, of Dover, Delaware, who was last seen with her biological mother, 40 year old Jessica A. Ewing at approximately 2:20 p.m., Friday, May 24, 2019 at W. B. Simpson Elementary School in Camden, Delaware. By taking custody of Mia, Ewing is in violation of a Family Court order which was issued on May 24, 2019.

Mia is described as a white female, 4’00” tall, 70 lbs. with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Ewing is described as a white female, 5’00” tall, 125 lbs., red hair and brown eyes. She is driving a blue, 2019 Toyota Corolla, with Arkansas registration, 739VRE.

Ewing has ties to the Prosperity, PA (which is southwest of Pittsburgh) and is possibly en-route to that area.
