UPDATED: Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Ocean Pines Pedestrian Fatal
UPDATED – 5/2/23 – 4:15pm – A pedestrian was struck walking across Ocean Parkway near the intersection with King Richard Road in Ocean Pines Monday morning. Worcester County Sheriff’s Office says 64 year old Pamela Shellenberger of Berlin was flown to Tidal Health Peninsula Regional Hospital in Salisbury where she later died from her injuries. The driver, a 30 year old Berlin woman remained at the scene – she was not injured. Police detected no impairment and she was released.

The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal vehicle crash Monday morning just before 9:30 involving a pedestrian. Ocean Pines Police responded to Ocean Parkway in the Sherwood Forest area of South Ocean Pines, but have requested the Sheriff’s Office assume the investigation.
