It began with a student’s senior project last year and now there’s a chicken house at Woodbridge High School!  It’s a miniature house that was created by Allen Harim, which will help students learn how to raise chickens for meat production.  It’s part of the school’s Animal Science Program and will have 99 chicks in each flock – the students will be responsible for feeding and watering and caring for the birds – while monitoring their growth and then working with a local butcher shop to process the birds when the reach market size.
