Woman Injured in Delmar Shooting

Delmar Police with help from Delaware State Police are investigating a shooing Wednesday night just after 8:30 on Buckingham Drive.  Police say a 56 year old female victim was standing at the front door of her home ready to enter when she was struck by gunfire.  She was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Police have collected one projectile from the front porch and a second went into the home from the direction of the road, however there is currently no suspect information.  If you have any information – contact Delmar Police – 410-896-3131 or Crime Stoppers – 800-TIP-3333.
