Wilmington Man Identified as Suspect in Millsboro Area Stabbing

Delaware State Police have identified the suspect in a stabbing near Millsboro last month.  Police were called to Townsend and Harmony Cemetery Road for a stabbing on January 24 just after 8pm.  Troopers found the 38 year old victim, who is from Milford, sitting on the side of the road.  He was taken to a local hospital.  Police learned he was a passenger in a car and got into an argument with another passenger – identified as 47 year old Lavocia Callahan of Wilmington.  The argument escalated and the driver stopped and Callahan stabbed the victim.  The victim was able to get out of the car – Callahan left the scene.  Warrants have been issued for Callahan on charges of 1st degree assault and other offenses.
