Wicomico Fire Marshal Investigating 2 Arson Fires

Firefighters in Salisbury were called to North Park Drive just before 3am Sunday where they found a porta potty on fire.  The fire was spotted by a neighbor and officials say the fire was intentional.  Damage is estimated at $5000 – to the porta potty, adjacent fencing and a storage building that is owned by the city.  If you have information – contact the State Fire Marshal at 410-713-3780.

A blaze in a vacant two story home in Nanticoke has been determined an arson.  The fire Saturday night was discovered by a neighbor on Nanticoke Road just before 9.  Westside firefighters were able to control the blaze quickly and investigators have determined that the fire began on the first floor and was intentional.  If you have information – contact the State Fire Marshal at 410-713-3780.
