Wicomico County’s Pirate’s Wharf Park to Open Wednesday

Wednesday residents in the Quantico area near Salisbury can check out the new Pirate’s Wharf Park. Beginning at 9am, visitors can explore the playground, pavilion and a portion of the trails – the property is still under development, so some parts of the park remain closed. County officials expect the remaining trails and the installation of interpretive exhibits will be completed in early 2024. Then in 2025 its hoped the park will include a boat ramp, soft launch, fishing pier and more.

The park is located on Whitehaven Road and will be open from sunrise to sunset daily.
