Wicomico County Board of Education Seeking New School Board Member

The Wicomico County Board of Education says it is currently acceptation applications to fill a vacancy in the District 3 Board of Education following the death of school board member David Goslee.
The BOE says applicants must live in District 3 and be at least 21 years of age, and be a registered voter.
Applications can be found at the County Council Office located at 125 North Division Street or online here.
All applicants will be interviewed by the commission prior to the commission making a decision to send the names to the Wicomico County Council for consideration. Applicants may be submitted to a background check including a search of the Maryland Sex Abuse Registry.
Applications are being accepted until March 1.
