Wicomico Co. Forms Redistricting Panel

Wicomico County Council is inviting interested residents who are registered voters to serve on a Redistricting Commission.
The panel will be tasked with developing councilmanic districts that are “reasonably compact, contiguous and substantially equal in population.” Citizens who are interested must submit a statement of interest, resume, political party information and other background by June 25th.
Members would be appointed in July and would start to meet bi-weekly or as needed when Census data is available, likely in August or September.
