What You Need to Know about DE School Board Elections on Tuesday; Sussex County & Milford

Delaware voters will go to the polls to elect members to their district school board. There are contested elections in each School District in Sussex County except Woodbridge. If you have not returned an absentee ballot – it must be returned to the Department of Elections office by 8pm on Tuesday. All school board seats are for 4 years. The polls will be open from 7am to 8pm – remember to bring a photo ID and if not on the same ID – something with your physical home address like a utility bill.
