WGMD Fishing Report 9-9-19
We had beautiful fishing weather on Sunday and the action picked right back up where it left off before the storm.
I did get a late report from Saturday. The Morning Star out of Ocean City had a charter that Captain Monty wanted to cancel due to the big seas, but instead they went out at 11:00 AM and after two unproductive stops they got to 115 feet of water where they proceeded to limit the boat out with big sea bass. They never had a short fish.
On Sunday, the Katydid had a boat limit of sea bass. The Angler came back from Delaware Bay with blowfish and porgies. The porgies were small, but it has been a long time since we have seen porgies of any size in Delaware Bay.
Deanna at Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m said Britney Lee caught a six-pound flounder out of the inlet on a Bass Assassin. Other anglers caught flounder to four pounds out of the inlet on live spot and Gulp!. The Judy V had flounder to four pounds on the morning trip.
