WGMD Fishing Report 9-25-21
Saturday saw improved weather and much improved fishing. Sunday the wind will be northwest at 15 to 20 with three to four-foot seas. On Monday the wind will go around to the west at ten to fifteen knots than go southwest with gusts to 20 and seas will be three feet.
The big new on Saturday came from Old Inlet Bait and Tackle. Their Fall Classic Surf Tournament produced at least a dozen red drum over 40 inches. This is the first time in anyone’s memory that many big red drum have ever been caught from the beach in Delaware. I will have more details in the Sunday report.
At Lewes Harbour Marina they said the Katydid had flounder and sea bass and the Lil’ Skipjack had sea bass from ocean structure. The Angler fished the bay for a catch of croaker and the Surface Tension also worked bay structure for a catch of trout.
Deanna at Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said the Captain Bob II had a good catch of sea bass.
