We have a new Delaware State Record blue catfish. The 47.75-pound monster was caught out of the Nanticoke River on August 31 by Colt Williamson of Harrington. The new record was weighed at Taylored Tackle in Seaford and verified by Johnny Moore, a fisheries biologist with the Division of Fish and Wildlife. The new record eclipsed the old one by more than 11 pounds. That fish was also weighed at Taylored Tackle. It was caught by Jordan Chelton and weighed 36.32 pounds.
