WGMD Fishing Report 9-12-19

Hermann-Financial

I can’t let Wednesday, September 11 go by without speaking to that terrible day in 2001.  I was fishing at Indian River Inlet with my neighbor George, whose son was captain of a New York City Fire Boat.  When my wife called to tell us about the attack, I ran to the ramp, pulled the boat, and headed home.  George is gone now, his son is on disability from the fallout and we will never forget.

Kyle Falgowski along with Captain Chip Graves, Billy Low and John Azato on the Bird Dog fished 1800 feet of water on Sunday to capture two swordfish.

Jim Ludwig and his wife had a good day at Cape Point on Sunday catching five just short rockfish on fresh mullet.

Dan’s Tackle Box reported that Brian had a limit of flounder at the Brandywine Slough on Sunday.  Jigs with cut bait did the damage.

Norm Falgowski caught and released a 52-inch sand tiger shark at Three Rs Road on Wednesday.  He said everybody came out of the water when they saw the shark and no one went back in after he released it.
