Butch Emmert, Francis Walsh of Rehoboth Beach, DE, Matt Axtell and John Wakefield of Wilm., DE fished the Indian River Inlet using live spot to get their limit of flounder. The largest fish weighed in at 4lbs
Jeff Bennett of Frankford, DE fished using live eels out at Fenwick Shoal and caught this 28.3lb cobia.

Anglers fishing the Flounder Pounder on Wednesday had to dodge some rain showers, but at 5:00 PM an 8.6-pounder was leading the daily prize worth $5,000.  The boat was from New Jersey, but I could not make out the name on the live cam from the tournament weigh-in station.

Dan鈥檚 Tackle Box reported that Monica Bayless caught a 15-inch pompano from the surf.  Young Reagan Fitzgerald caught a bluefish, also from the beach.  Joe DeMarco had a boat limit of flounder on the Fishbonz over the weekend.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle told us kings and croaker continue to take bloodworms, FishBite bloodworms, clams or cut bait in the surf.  The occasional bluefish is also in the mix.  More blues in the one to three-pound class move through the inlet during incoming water.  Casting bucktails or metal lures has been the best way to catch these fish.  Small rockfish gather under the lights at the Coast Guard Station after dark and will hit speck rigs, or shad darts.
