WGMD Fishing Report 7-22-19
Sunday was about as hot as it gets in Delaware. Most people fished in the morning if they fished at all. I understand the flies were really bad on the beaches and I don鈥檛 have any reports from the surf.
Dan鈥檚 Tackle posted a photo of an angler with an eight-pound, 15-ounce bass that he caught out of Garrison鈥檚 Lake. Unfortunately, he didn鈥檛 include his name or any other information.
Siggy Walschberger fished with his family on the Pirate out of Angler鈥檚 Marina. They worked the Shears and Brown Shoal where Siggy caught a 7.19-pound flounder on a bucktail. The rest of the family had kings, blues, trout and blowfish. Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina also reported that the Strike Zone fished the 10-Fathom Lump on Saturday returning with three bluefin tuna weighing 58, 56 and 48 pounds. The Top Fin with Captain Pete Haines had a limit of bluefish for the John Burke party on Saturday morning. They fished in Delaware Bay. The Storm Rider fished the Wilmington Canyon on Saturday where Chris Durham caught a 19.5-pound dolphin.
