WGMD Fishing Report 6-6-21

It was good ole summer time on Sunday with 90-degree temperatures and light winds. It looks like that is what we will have for most of the week with the chance for thunderstorms in the afternoon. One weather related thing to be aware of at this time of year is fog. The water is still cold and when it meets the warm, humid air you have a chance of very thick fog. It is usually bad in the morning on incoming water.

At Lewes Harbour Marina the report was sea bass and a few flounder on the Katydid and the Surface Tension fishing over ocean structure. A private boat brought in some black drum from Delaware Bay.

At Lighthouse View Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park Brian Davis caught three flounder on green Gulp!. They also said kings and spot were caught on bloodworms and Fish Bites.

At Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m Burt said the Del-Jersey-Land Reef produced sea bass and a few flounder. Bluefin tuna came in from offshore.
