WGMD Fishing Report 6-4-21
To the best of my knowledge, no boats went out on Friday for sea bass or tuna. Seas were running three to four feet in the ocean and it looked like it was going to rain any second, but it never did in Lewes. Conditions do look better for Saturday and Sunday with a southwest wind and seas in the ocean of three feet.
Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina said marina manager Tommy Serbin took off on Tuesday and along with Kevin Legates and Dennis Reed went out to the Poorman鈥檚 on the Sea Hunter. They trolled pink spreader bars and green Magic Tails side trackers to box there two under bluefins and release several more. Deep dropping produced golden tiles, black belly rose fish and one cod. Joe Cianela went fishing aboard the Katydid to catch his 3.36-pound citation black sea bass.
Lighthouse View Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park reported flounder caught on Gulp! and minnows. Kings and spot were taken on bloodworms and Fish Bites.
