WGMD Fishing Report 6-2-21
Wednesday was a decent weather day and those who were able to get out on the water found some action. Thursday and Friday look pretty damp, but as of right now, the weekend seems to have promise.
Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina said the Grizzly had a boat limit of sea bass on Wednesday. A private boat did as well. The Angler brought in a catch of kingfish from bay structure. Private boats fishing in the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal had a few flounder.
Lighthouse View Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said they saw spot, croaker and small trout caught on Wednesday. Bloodworms and Fish Bites were the most popular baits.
At Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m Burt said the all-day head boat, Capt. Bob II, had a boat limit of sea bass and the half-day boat, the Judy V, also had a catch of sea bass. The offshore boats are finding bluefin tuna plus a few bigeyes.
Frank Tucker along with Ed and Otto had five flounder and five sea bass at the Old Grounds.
