Dave at Lighthouse View Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park reported some three to four-pound blues from the beach to the east of the pier on mullet or bunker.聽 The occasional keeper flounder has been caught from the pier on a jig head decorated with Gulp!聽
At Old Inlet Bait and Tackle we heard about the surf-casters working the beach at night with black or purple plugs and catching seven to ten-pound blues along with a few keeper rockfish.
