WGMD Fishing Report 5-11-19

Friday saw sunshine with increasing winds, but people went fishing and they caught some fish.  If you don’t get out on Saturday, you won’t be going out again until next Wednesday as the weather is going downhill fast.

Dan’s Tackle Box told us Chad Bayless had blues and black drum from Broadkill Beach on Friday.  Ronald Capone caught a black drum from Broadkill on Thursday.  Sporto Gray and Mike also caught black drum from Broadkill Beach.

The Fish Bound out of Ocean City had a good tog trip on Thursday.  Chan released a 13-pounder and John released an 11 pounder.  The crew also kept some smaller fish.

The Top Fin with Captain Pete Haynes had a two-day charter with Nam Dong.  They caught big blues on Nomad plugs and even added a black drum.  They fished by the pier at Cape Henlopen State Park and off of Broadkill Beach.

Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina told us Michelle Stahl caught her first ever black drum from Broadkill Beach.  Morty Morton had several black drum from the same location.
