WGMD Fishing Report 3-8-19

Thursday was still cold and windy and I didn’t receive any fishing reports.

The marine weather looks good for Friday and Saturday and I suspect there will be boats running for tog both days. 

Speaking of Saturday, if you have any interest in fly fishing, the Delaware Saltwater Fly Fishing Club meets every Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until noon at Lewes Harbour Marina.  These guys and gals tie flies and eat pastry all morning, but always find time to welcome newcomers to the sport.

On March 30 the SaltFish online service will hold their annual Lurefest at the Bowers Beach Fire House beginning at 10:00 AM.  There will be seminars including an update on the latest information from the Delaware Fish and Wildlife Department plus displays from other organizations.  The kid’s raffle is great since every child holds a winning ticket and they all get in for free.  At noon they put out a buffet that rivals any you have ever seen.  Go to saltfish.com for all the details.
