WGMD Fishing Report 12-26-18
Wednesday saw beautiful weather, but both Lewes Harbour Marina and Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m did not answer the phone when I called.
I called Captain John Nedelka on the Karen Sue and he said he had four anglers out on Wednesday and they caught several short tog plus four keepers.
The Fish Bound with Captain DJ Churchill out of Ocean City made the long run to the deep and found a quick boat limit of jumbo three to five-pound sea bass for their party.聽 The Morning Star, also out of Ocean City, with Captain Monty Hawkins made a long run but only one angler had a 15-fish limit and the pool winner was only 17 inches long.聽 Both boats plan to run out again before the end of the year.
On Thursday I hope to fish with Captain John Nedelka and Scott Newell on the Karen Sue to do some tog tagging for research for the Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife.聽 Apparently they haven鈥檛 heard about my track record in 2018.聽 Let鈥檚 hope I can end the year in a blaze of glory.聽 Wish me luck!
