WGMD Fishing Report 11-8-21

Monday saw small craft advisories up on the ocean and they will be back up on Tuesday when winds will be northwest at five to ten knots and seas will be five to six feet. Wednesday will see the same northwest wind at ten knots with seas of three to four feet. Daytime temperatures will be in the 60s this week and then drop to the 50s as the last of our mild fall weather says goodbye.

I spoke with Tommy at Lewes Harbour Marina and he said no boats left their docks on Monday. The report from Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m was the same.

Patty at Captain Bones in Odessa said some slot rockfish (28 to 38 inches) were caught on trolled Stretch plugs at Ship John Light last week. Steve at Smith Bait in Leipsic had a similar report as slot rock were caught by trolling Rapala plugs around the lighthouses in his area.

This is good news as at least we are getting some activity from larger resident fish in the bay.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
