WGMD Fishing Report 11-7-21
Sunday saw small craft advisories up on the bay and the ocean and they will be up again on Monday when winds will be north at 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 and seas will run five to eight feet on the ocean. Tuesday will see the wind drop out to five to ten from the north, but seas will still be running three to five feet in the ocean. Seas in the bay are forecast to be two feet or less for the latter part of the week so fishing the walls and the Ice Breakers for tog should be possible.
I spoke with Lewes Harbour Marina and Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m and they reported no boats left their docks on Sunday.
Had some good news from Old Inlet Bait and Tackle. Seems a few keeper rockfish were caught during the day on Sunday with soft plastics to top producer. Tog fishing was also good with sand fleas and green crabs the prime baits. The beaches along the ocean were unfishable.
