WGMD Fishing Report 11-22-20

Saturday saw more beautiful November weather with warm temperatures and light winds.  Sunday will see the wind pickup out of the northeast and the seas increase to three to four feet.

I am happy to report that people did go fishing and, for the most part, they had good luck.

One unusual catch happened at the Outer Wall where Tom Martone was fishing for tog with a green crab and ended up catching a 26.75-inch red drum.  Could these fish be expanding their range into Delaware?

Captain Pete Haines on the Top Fin got his party just two short of a boat limit of tog.  Jules and Bill Mister had seven tog, just one short of their limit.

The Surface Tension with Captain Keith Beebe fished Site 11 and put Douglas Scott Barry on a 5.49-pound black sea bass.  I believe that is the largest sea bass so far this year in Delaware.

At Old Inlet Bait and Tackle the report was tog at the inlet on green crabs and sand fleas with more shorts that keepers.

This is Eric Burnley with you WGMD Fishing Report.
