WGMD Fishing Report 11-19-21

Friday saw small craft advisories up, but Saturday will see winds out of the northeast at 10 to 15 knots in the morning dropping down to five to ten in the afternoon with seas of three feet early, going down to two feet late in the day. Sunday will begin with winds of 10 to 15 knots out of the west with seas of two feet then the wind will go up to 10 to 15 knots with gusts to 20 and the seas will climb back up to three feet. This is one of the better fishing weather reports we have had for a while.

At Old Inlet Bait and Tackle they reported small rockfish caught out of Indian River Inlet in the morning during incoming water on four-inch swim shads. Tog were taken from the rocks throughout the day on sand fleas and a green crab. They had no reports from the beach.

Every day it seems I get glowing reports of big striped bass caught by my friends in North Jersey. Yesterday they had them on fly rods.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
