WGMD Fishing Report 11-18-19
The weather on Sunday was just as bad as Saturday and it鈥檚 not going to improve much until Tuesday.
I did attend the Emmert Sportsman鈥檚 Auction on Sunday and it was a lot of fun. There were more guns than fishing tackle and almost everything went for well below retail.
While I was there I ran into Burt Adams from Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m who told me he would like to see his head boats sail some more this year if the weather would improve and more people would show up on the dock.
Jim Hutchinson, Editor of the New Jersey-Delaware Bay Edition of the Fisherman Magazine sent me more detailed information on the 67.55-pound striped bass caught off of Staten Island on November 14.聽 Tyler Land was fishing aboard the Katfish Charters with Captain Vinny Vetere when the big fish hit a Tournament Grade Tackle rattle spoon in gold and white.聽 The spoon is designed by Captain Vinny to imitate a fluke and caught a 60-pound striper the week before.聽
