Small craft advisories were up on Friday and to the best of my knowledge, no boats ventured out into the bay or ocean. Saturday will also see small craft advisories up for south winds at 10 to 15 knots with gusts to 20 moving to the southwest at 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 25 and finally going west at 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 and seas of three to five feet. Sunday the wind will be west at 10 to 15 knots with gusts to 20 until late in the day when they will shift to the southwest at 10 to 15 knots with gusts to 20 and seas of three to four feet.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle reported that Eddie Heite went Old School and caught a 20-inch trout on a white bucktail with a yellow worm out of Indian River Inlet on Friday. They also said the tog bite continued at the inlet on sand fleas and green crab.

Lewes Harbour Marina has a new leader in the tog tournament as Gregory Frezetti weighed in an 11.33 pounder.
