WGMD Fishing Report 10-27-21
Wednesday was another nasty day at the beach with a brisk northeast wind and small craft advisories that will remain up on Thursday. The wind will be northeast again on Thursday at 10 to 15 knots with gusts to 20 and seas running five to seven feet. Friday it really gets nautical with east winds at 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 in the morning then 25 to 30 with gusts to 40 in the afternoon with seas running seven to ten feet. This will round out a perfectly lousy week of weather.
I did have one report from my friend Dan Neumann. He fished the southside of Indian River Inlet during incoming water on Tuesday using a Gotcha plug and a small silver spoon to catch shad. At the end of the tide, he also caught some small bluefish and one small rockfish.
Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina let us know that Jackson Aeo has moved into third place in the tog tournament with a 5.67 pounder.
