UPDATED: ARRESTED – Man Wanted for Seaford Burglary

UPDATED  6-14-19 7am:  Delaware State Police have located 33-year-old Matthew J. Davis of Seaford who was wanted in connection with a burglary.  Davis was arrested Thursday on Sussex Highway without incident.  He is being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on $13,001 cash only bond.

Delaware State Police Troopers are seeking the public’s help in locating 33-year-old Matthew Davis of Seaford, who is wanted in connection with a burglary.

They say the incident took place on May 30, 2019 around 2:30 p.m. at a home in the 26000 block of Lonesome Road in Seaford. Troopers arrived to the scene to find the home had been burglarized and forced entry was made. They discovered cash and electronics were stolen.

Through the course of an investigation, Troopers identified Davis as the suspect. They learned he had pawned some of the items. Davis is wanted on the following charges: Second Degree Burglary, Theft, Theft by False Pretense, Falsifying Business Record and Criminal Mischief.
