Walmart offering free prescription drug home-disposal kits to combat opioid crisis

Walmart offering a new way to help combat the opioid crisis: free home-disposal kits for unused medication. The mega-retailer is now offering a disposal solution packet called DisposeRX at all of its pharmacy locations nationwide. To use it you add the packet and warm water to the pill bottle and shake. After 30 seconds, the solution traps any form of prescription drug in a non-divertible bio-degradable gel that’s safe to dispose in the trash. DisposeRX is available at Walmart Pharmacy’s and is FREE to anyone who wants it.
