VIDEO | Delaware Weekly COVID-19 Update

Governor John Carney, Delaware Public Health Director Dr. Karyl Rattay and Delaware Emergency Management Agency Director A.J. Schall participated in the weekly virtual COVID-19 briefing Tuesday, June 1st.

Rattay said that for the second consecutive week there were no current areas of concern regarding coronavirus cases. She also addressed several myths about COVID-19 vaccines.

Carney talked about encouraging health metrics and efforts to vaccinate about 17,000 more people to meet President Biden’s goal of 70-percent full vaccination by July 4th.

Schall updated testing and vaccine outreach efforts.
