US & State Flags Lowered to Half-Staff Tuesday in Memory of Assoc. Justice John Paul Stevens

As a mark of respect for the memory and longstanding service of John Paul Stevens, retired Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, President Donald J. Trump ordered the United States Flag lowered to half-staff from sunrise until sunset on the day of his internment, Tuesday, July 23, 2019. Retired Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States John Paul Stevens passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019. As a matter of protocol, the Maryland and Delaware flags are lowered to half-staff. No flag may be higher than the United States flag.
