Update: Missing Urn Discovered

An urn that was reported stolen in Dewey Beach earlier this month has been found.
According to Dewey Beach Police, a pedestrian discovered the urn late Wednesday morning in the marsh adjacent to the Route 24 bridge in the Love Creek area.
A Pennsylvania family that was in Dewey Beach for a celebration of life of the loved one discovered that the urn, with the ashes inside, was taken from an unsecured parked vehicle on Dover Road during Columbus Day weekend.
Police said the family has been put into contact with the person who discovered it to arrange to return the urn.
