Tyaskin Beach in Wicomico County Reopened

Tyaskin Beach has reopened after a retest of bacteria levels. The tests from Thursday have all come back normal. The beach was closed Thursday due to elevated bacteria levels. Wicomico County Health officials say children, the elderly, pregnant women and anyone with a weakened immune system are most likely to become ill from swimming in contaminated water – or become seriously ill from exposure to waterborne illnesses.
