Two Dover Men Arrested on Multiple Drug Offenses

Two Dover men have been arrested following an investigation into the sale of illegal drugs in the Dover area.  Delaware State Police spotted a car with fictitious tags on Bay Road being driven by 26 year old Javon Young, who did not have a valid license.  Young is also a known fugitive with an active felony arrest warrant on multiple drug charges.  Police tried to stop his vehicle, but Young sped off – driving head on at 4 Governor’s Task Force members who were part of the chase – ending in a crash.  Police arrested Young and a passenger, 22 year old Khalil Dixon.  Police seized 185 packages of heroin as well as crack cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and over $400 is suspected drug proceeds.  Both men face multiple drug and other offenses.  No one was injured in the crash.
