Two DOC Walk Aways from the SCCC Back in Custody
An offender who walked away from the SCCC in Georgetown is back in custody. Corrections officials say 35 year old Kirk Holroyd of the Millsboro area left the SCCC on November 22. He was arrested on December 11th by Ocean City Police. He is now in custody at SCI in Georgetown on an escape after conviction warrant in default of a $5000 cash bail. Holroyd had been serving for a violation of probation for a charge of 3rd degree burglary.
An offender who failed to return to the SCCC from an approved work pass on December 3rd has been arrested. William Ball of the Lewes area was arrested in Maryland and extradited on Monday from Caroline County. Ball, who was at the SCCC on a charge of 3rd degree burglary, is now being held at SCI on an escape after conviction warrant in default of a $10,000 cash bail.
