Two Arrested on Drug Charges Near Seaford

Two men have been arrested in connection with illegal drugs being sold in the Concord and Seaford areas.  Members of the Governor’s Task Force and Sussex Drug Unit learned 38 year old William Matthews of Felton was selling heroin and cocaine from his vehicle which was parked at a Seaford home on German Road as well as at various locations in Concord.  Matthews is also wanted on outstanding warrants.  On Thursday Police spotted Matthews and a passenger in his car, 28 year old Rayshawn Sheppard of Seaford to into the Concord DeLux Dairy Market.  Police tried to contact them as they left the store – Matthews ran off on foot but was caught after a short chase.  A search of the vehicle turned up crack cocaine, bulk heroin, 123 bags of heroin, marijuana, 6 ½ MDMA pills and over $1000 in suspected drug money.  Both men face a variety of drug offenses.
