Two Arrested on Drug Charges after Traffic Stop in Lincoln
Two men have been arrested on multiple drug offenses after a traffic stop in Lincoln Friday afternoon. Delaware State Police followed the SUV and watched a rear door open as something was thrown from the vehicle. Police stopped the vehicle – and saw 28 year old Joshua Wright of Milford lying across the back seat. Wright is wanted for weapons related offenses in connection with a shooting at the Gateway Tavern in Ellendale in June. Trooper smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle and removed the driver, 28 year old Tevin Dorsey of Milford. Police also recovered a sock filled with over 47 grams of crack and powdered cocaine that had been tossed out of the SUV. Police also seized over $2000 in cash and over 421 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. From the trunk was a bin containing 12 pounds of freshly harvested marijuana plants. Both are charged with a variety of drug offenses. Wright also faces riot, 3rd degree assault and weapons offenses from the incident in June in Ellendale. Wright is being held at SCI in default of $223,600 cash bail. Dorsey is being held at SCI in default of $135,601 cash bail.
