Two arrested following fight where gun was pulled on teens in Millsboro
Two men were arrested following a fight that led one to pull out a handgun and threaten several people in Millsboro.
According to Delaware State Police, officers were called to a home in the 24000 block of Shoreline Drive in Millsboro around 3:30 a.m., Friday, for reports of a fight.
Troopers arrived and met with the victims, two 18-year-olds and a 19-year-old, who told officers that two other teens, who they didn’t know, were at the home at the time of the altercation.
One of the men, identified as 22-year-old Andrew L. Mudry of Millsboro, started screaming before physically assaulting two of the victims, according to police.
The other suspect, Mudry’s friend, identified as 22-year old Ja鈥機haris D. Owens of Dover, reportedly pulled out a handgun and threatened to kill two of the victims, police said. The two suspects then got into a second physical altercation with two other victims, ages 19 and 16.
Mudry and Owens left the residence and the victims did not sustain injury.
Owens was taken into custody at the Dover Air Force Base without incident. He was charged with Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Aggravated Menacing (4 counts), Conspiracy Second Degree, Terroristic Threatening, and Offensive Touching (2 counts). He was arraigned and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $35,000 secured bond.
Mudry was taken into custody by Probation and Parole and charged with Conspiracy Second Degree (Felony), Terroristic Threatening and Offensive Touching (4 counts). He was arraigned on $3,400 unsecured bond and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on an administrative warrant.
