Delaware State Police have arrested two attempting to break into a residence on Pecan Court in Plantations East west of Lewes on Sunday night. Police were notified by the homeowner who was not home at the time, but saw a male with a large knife walking around the screened-in porch area on his security camera. Police found the screen had been cut and a glass window shattered – the homeowner advised police there were two suspects in the garage. Both suspects walked out the front door wearing face coverings – and were arrested. A 17 year old juvenile from Chesapeake Beach, MD, resisted arrest and was found with a large knife in his pocket.
