Torrential rains lead to fatal crash on Redden Road

Fatal crash in Bridgeville on Sunday. Around 3:15 two cars collided head on Redden Road after one vehicle drifted across the center line while going around a curve. One man, Ernest McBroom of Bridgeville, died as a result of the accident. The other driver and two passengers were taken to the hospital as a precaution, but did not sustain major injuries. Police say the torrential rains could have been a factor in the crash. Redden road was closed for 3 hours while investigators cleared the scene.
