Small craft advisories were up on Wednesday and they will be up at least through Friday and probably until Sunday.

Lewes Harbour Marina and Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said no boats left the dock on Wednesday.

At Old Inlet Bait and Tackle they said there was a lot of activity around the Inlet Bridge during incoming water on Wednesday. Small blues were breaking on top while small striped bass were feeding under the blues. Metal lures and bucktails were catching both. The night shift on the jetties had some larger stripers on sand fleas, eels and black SP Minnows. No reports of any success from the surf.

On Tuesday Jules and Bill Mister had a great day. They caught a boat limit of dolphin, a bunch of sea bass, one flounder and four cobia of which only one was large enough to keep. It was Jules first dolphin and Bill’s first cobia. They said the ocean was smooth as glass.
