Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 9-10-23

We had a good bit of rain on Sunday. Over 陆-inch at my house. Still, fish were caught between the rain drops.

I hope everyone will take a moment or two today to reflect back on September 11, 2001 when we suffered the worst attack since Pearl Harbor. I was working in New York back then and drove by the smoking remains of the Twin Towers, saw the gaping holes. Images I will never forget.

Lewes Harbour Marina said Shazmin Stearn was fishing from her family dock using a rig and bait recommended by Andrew at Lewes Harbour Marina. It must have worked because she caught a 5-pound flounder.

Richard Wilkey caught his first ever striped bass from the north side of Indian River Inlet just west of the inlet bridge on Sunday. The trophy measured 36 inches and he had to let it go. I am sure he would have loved to keep that fish.
