Tuesday saw a lot of northwest wind and not a lot of fishing.

For the second day, Lewes Harbour Marina reported no boats left the dock. On Sunday, Justin Reed brought in two flounder to 29 inches that he caught on Gulp! at the Old Grounds.

The Thelma Dale IV out of Fisherman鈥檚 Wharf had a slow start on Sunday morning, but conditions improved in the afternoon so anglers were able to put some nice flounder and sea bass in their coolers.

On Saturday morning, the Sea Jay II ran into some impressive seas at the mouth of the bay, but once clear of them they were able to put their party on quality flounder to 7 pounds along with some nice sea bass.

On Sunday Jackie Maurer and Dylan Bair used Gulp! at the Old Grounds to box a limit of quality flounder.

In spite of the wind on Tuesday, fishing was good for spot and croaker on the Cape Henlopen Fishing Pier.
