Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 7-18-23
Tuesday was a nice day except for the occasional downpours.
Tracy Roles caught a 22.5-inch flounder from the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal while fishing from her kayak.
Captain Brin on the Thelma Dale IV had a good day. He ran a little farther southeast and found the flounder not only willing to bite, but also of good size. He ended the day with almost 50 in the box and quite a few limits for his customers. He also has some big sea bass.
At Lewes Harbour Marina the report was very good flounder fishing over ocean structure. The Katydid and several private boats came back with limits of flounder plus some big sea bass. The Angler fished bay structure and caught croaker.
Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park told us it was just another summer day on the pier. Spot and croaker on bloodworms and Fishbites plus a few flounder on minnows.
