The weather was pretty good on Wednesday and lots of fish hit the cleaning tables.

At Lewes Harbour Marina they saw limit catches of flounder come in from ocean structure aboard the Katydid, the Surface Tension and the Grizzly.

At Breakwater Tackle on the fishing Pier at Cape Henlopen Sate Park they told me croaker were caught on bloodworms and Fishbites. Striped bass were taken early in the morning during high tide on live spot. None of the stripers were large enough to meet the 28-inch minimum size. Flounder were caught on minnows fished close to the pilings.

At Old Inlet Bait and Tackle they said flounder continue to be taken on minnows fished along the northside from the Coast Guard Station to the Northside Marina Entrance. Kings were caught from the beach on bloodworms or Fishbites.

Rick鈥檚 reported that Josiah Powalski had a 22.5-inch flounder and Bruce Hambrick had a 23.5 incher at Massey鈥檚 Ditch, both on minnows.
