I hope every Dad had a great Father鈥檚 Day on Sunday. The weather certainly was fine, although the fishing was a bit off.

On Saturday, the Sea Jay II had the crew from Fish in OC aboard for a film session. Captain Jamar Campbell and crew did them selves proud by catching a boat limit of flounder.

Lewes Harbour Marina reported that on Sunday the cleaning table was covered with flounder to 6 pounds from the Skipjack II, Katydid and the Sea Jay II. Kim and Chris Donaldson fished the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal with minnows for five keeper flounder between 16.5 and 17.75 inches. Kim caught four of the five including three on three consecutive casts.

At Breakwater Tackle on the Fishing Pier on Cape Henlopen State Park the report was better flounder fishing in the morning with minnows the best bait. Spot and croaker fishing also improved a bit in the afternoon with bloodworms the prime bait here.
