Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 4-17-23
Sunday saw another good weather fishing day.
No great change in Delaware, but a tog catch in Ocean City was spectacular.
Scott Lenox at Fish in OC reported that Captain Chase Eberle on Chasin’ Tides had a catch of tog that is one of the best I have ever heard of. His party had 19 double digit fish including three 10 pounders, two 11 pounders, four 12 pounders, three 14 pounders, three 13 pounders, one 15 pounder, one 19 pounder, one 20 pounder and one 21 pounder. The 20 and 21 pounders were caught by Joe Mole. All were released except for the 21 pounder.
Dan at Dan’s Tackle said black drum have been caught at Broadkill Beach on clams and blue crab. A few rockfish have also been caught here on the same baits.
